Rhymes

Rhyming is a great way to remember things. We can memorize long poems or other items by singing them as a song instead of singing original lyrics of the song. We memorize hundreds of songs without any effort.  Music is powerful and we should associate music to the things, we never want to forget. People never forget lullaby or things like that. That is why most people can recall accurately national songs but not other information about their nation.

One very effective method to remember numbers is creating rhymes based on numbers. It is easy to create Number-rhymes, and then we can use this rhyme to associate numbers with other objects.
To create number-rhyming we just have to encode numbers based on their rhyme. Like pun for one, raven for seven etc.
Here is given numbers and their rhyming words. You can substitute any word in this list with any other word that you like.
One ( 1 ) – run, done, sun, fun
Two ( 2 ) – woo, poo, zoo, glue, loo
Three ( 3 ) – tree, free , pea, tea, flea
Four ( 4 ) – tore, more, bore, store, core
Five ( 5 ) – hive, wives, strive, thrive, drive
Six ( 6 ) – fix, mix, wicks, helix
Seven ( 7 ) – raven, sholven
Eight ( 8 ) – weight , fate
Nine ( 9 ) – canine, mine
Zero ( 0 ) – hero, nero
Ten ( 10 ) – Hen, Pen

Now to remember a list encode numbers with number-rhyming and then link them as explained in chapter “Linking”. For example to associate British prime minister’s office with a house no. 10, just imagine a dancing hen on prime ministers gate or table.
