Journaling and Goals Setting - Secret 2.0: Law Of Attraction

“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.”
Langston Hughes

You should set concrete goals and direct all your energy towards achieving them. So, write down your dreams and goals in a diary or a notebook, and never lose sight of them. You should also dream a lot about your goals. Set goals for every area of life and for everything, you do. What do you want to achieve and become in this life? Brainstorm your goals in financial, relationship, health, property, and professional areas. Think about it for few minutes, and then write it down on a paper or a journal. Paste this paper on your worktable or somewhere easily accessible. To be more accountable to your goals, tell your goals to other people. It is better to tell your goals to someone close. You can also declare your goals on social media. Writing goals seems very cliché and simple process but it is very effective. Successful people are very serious about their goals and are committed to them. These goals must be very specific, preferably in numbers.
Create a progress journal and daily record your progress. You can use either a paper journal or an online journal. Write your experiences in it, as soon as the task completed.
You should visualize yourself working on these goals. Seeing yourself working on goals destroys various limits and blocks in your mind. Most successful people knowingly or unknowingly daily think and visualize about their goals.
Numerous researchers have suggested that goal setting process can be very effective in achieving success in major areas of life. People who set goals outperform people who do not set goals in almost all areas of life. Successful people set short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals for all major areas of life i.e. relationship, career, business, health, spiritual, fun etc. While setting goals, you should keep in mind following things-

1.       Goals should be written in present tense.
E.g., I am the CEO of XYZ.
              I have a 900 sq. ft. house.
2.       You should have about 4-5 goals for each area of your life. The goals should be complementary to and compatible with one another.
3.       Your goals should be divided into three categories based on their likely time of completion: short term, medium term, and long-term goals.
4.       You should always specify starting time and finishing time for each goal.

5.       You should keep most of your goals secret if you feel uncomfortable in revealing them. (You can reveal few goals to very close people or to the people who can help you achieve those goals.)
